August 18th working at the entrance to Mcarthur Glen Outlet Mall at the Vancouver Airport, shoppers had to enter the mall through my tent! I painted the scene with aircraft landing every 5 minutes some so low the jet wash would lift my tent.

The first place trophy at the Steveston Grand Prix of Art has been rededicated as the 'Gray Cup' after D. F. My pastel on the cover 'Far and Near Horizons' with Landscape Artists International. in 2013 exhibited with Landscape Artists International at ARTISTS FOR A NEW CENTURY GALLERY Soho, Manhatten, New York GREEN DRAKE GALLERY Millheim, Pennsylvania.

I am seen working in the July/August 2013, The Artist Magazine in the featured article Large Plein Air 2013 exhibited at the Artists for a New Century Gallery, Soho, New York , Green Drake Gallery PA I have work in Art for an Oil Free Coast travelling exhibition also featured in the documentary Reflections, Artists for an Oil Free Coast . My work can be seen in the book Artists for an Oil Free Coast , on the cover and in Far and Near Horizons, places of interest . Works can be found in Mythography, Ken Kirkby and Friends all published in 2012. A pastel from 2011 Herring Spawn is reproduced on a sign for the (United Nations) Mt. Arrowsmith Biosphere Reserve at the entrance to Rathtrevor Park, Vancouver Island. The Steveston Grand prix of Art 1st Place Trophy is named The Gray Cup for Dan s dedication to plein air Sept 2011. In 2010 a project to paint 2010 people from life concluded with over 2500 subjects.
